serious youth violence research programme

At the Violence Intervention Project, we know that frontline work is vital to ensure that we can continue building relationships with young people in order to break the cycle of serious youth violence. Underpinning this, is our Research programme.

Our Research programme is the golden thread that runs alongside all of our outreach work, school delivery and new projects. We have a dedicated team that are committed to research, monitoring, learning and evaluation (RMLE) and strive to create a culture of collaborative learning.

We know that research in our area is vital to support working practices and inform policy changes. It is our belief that we are in the right position as an organisation to contribute significantly in this area, as we have strong links with not only our clients but organisations throughout the professional and academic sector.

You can see from our Theory of Change how RMLE contributes to our organisational rhythm.  Please see our resources below.

If you’d like to know more about our research, you can contact our Head of Therapeutic Operations, Ash, for more information: ash@vip.org.uk.

It is through being research-focused and outreach-driven that we can truly make a lasting difference to the lives of young people we come into contact with, and those we don’t.
