Urban Therapy

Urban Outreach

Urban therapy requires a flexibility and dynamism that sets it apart from other therapeutic interventions.

Urban Therapy is our frontline practice — relational, flexible and rooted in community. It’s not therapy in a clinic, it’s therapy in context. In schools, on estates, in homes. Wherever young people feel the system is out of reach, Urban Therapy steps in as a bridge.

Our team of outreach workers and child and adolescent psychotherapists offer:

1:1 Therapeutic Outreach: Tailored, ongoing therapeutic support for young people aged 12–25, meeting them where they are and walking alongside them through their journey.

Family Sessions: Facilitated sessions that help improve communication, strengthen relationships, and build healthier home dynamics.

Education, Training & Employment (ETE) Support: Practical guidance and encouragement to help young people take their next steps into education, training, or employment opportunities.

Family Support Work: Our dedicated family support worker offers hands-on help, signposting, and guidance — all delivered through a consistent, shame-informed, and therapeutic approach.

Urban Therapy is more than just a service we offer. Its a key part of our approach. One that centres dignity, safety, and agency, transforming relationships and helping young people imagine and build new futures.
