Young People

supporting young people

At the Violence Intervention Project, we work with socially excluded young people up to the age of 25 who are at risk or involved in Serious Youth Violence.

If you are worried about yourself, or someone who you care for then we are here to help. We work to create relationships, with no fixed agenda or judgement. We know that at times these situations can seem impossible, but from our experience sometimes it just takes having a person at the other end of the phone who understands, to make a difference.

We know that everyone’s circumstances are different which is why we operate completely flexibly. Whether you need a lift from London to Birmingham because you’re not safe, a decent meal or just to vent, we’re there. We understand the impact that difficult circumstances can have on socially excluded young people. To us, support means all of the above and more. Please feel free to get in touch and speak to a member of the team.

We put the client at the centre of our work and our goal is simply to empower. It doesn’t happen overnight, but our ethos is: short-term work, long-term relationships.
